Virtual Personal Assistant

Full time/part time self-employed flexible opportunities.  Ideally we require a minimum of 4 hours per day, 5 days per week during core business hours – Monday to Friday (8.30am to 5.30pm)

Location; Home Based/Remote (occasional customer visits and team meetings may be required)

We are growing and now looking to hire experienced and highly skilled Virtual Personal Assistants with a minimum of 5 years experience in a Personal or Executive Assistant support role.

We are looking for talented individuals that are able to provide continuity and consistency to our clients, based predominantly in Suffolk and the UK.

As a Virtual Personal Assistant your task is to ensure you lighten the load of our clients and take control of administrative tasks to allow them to focus on other key areas. This is a dynamic and demanding role that requires you to build trust and loyalty with our clients to ensure effective working relationships.

You will act as an ambassador for VirtualGo and a champion for our full suite of services.  Your job is to ensure that VirtualGo clients are given the best support possible.

Job Description

A VirtualGo Virtual Personal assistant will provide first class personal assistance to one or several clients with the ability to be able to manage a portfolio of clients requiring different levels of support across many different industries.

Tasks could include, diary and email management, minute taking, office/business administration, lifestyle management, marketing administration, travel planning and so much more. Each client is unique.

You will nurture and develop the professional relationship with the Client on behalf of VirtualGo and be confident in taking ownership of tasks assigned to you either directly by the Client or by VirtualGo and ensure that deadlines are either met, or contingencies created.

You will be a strong self-starter, used to home-based roles working within a professionally equipped home office with business fibre internet.  As part of the team you will be highly visible and accountable. 


  • At least 5 years’ experience as a Personal or Executive Assistant in a demanding role.

  • Aptitude, adaptability and persistence.

  • Strong problem solving skills.

  • Integrity, reliability, resourcefulness.

  • Attention to detail and deadlines.

  • Confidence and commitment.

  • Technically astute and able to grasp new software/applications easily.

  • Excellent demonstratable knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and electronic.

  • Ability to be proactive, use own initiative and to work alone in a remote environment.

  • Business acumen
