Senior Administrator

Full time – Monday to Friday (to cover hours between 0830 hrs and 1700 hrs) - 37.5 hour per week

Contract / self-employed

Salary £11 - £13 per hour (£21,450 – £25,350 per annum) depending on experience

Location; Home Based/Remote (occasional customer visits may be required)

As an experienced, reliable and task-focused Administrator you will be working on various projects and hold responsibility for a set of tasks allocated to a client account.  Additionally, you will be proactive in identifying opportunities for future growth and customer success.


As the ideal candidate you should be highly self-motivated, charismatic, a team player and capable of building a trusted relationship with the customer.  You will be able to manage your own work load, lead and prioritise tasks in a customer facing environment. 


Applicants should be a strong self-starter use to virtually delivered roles and have the ability to work within your own professionally equipped home office with suitable high speed internet access, with occasional customer site visits as and when required.



  • Front line customer service contact and email management

  • Creation of Proposals and Agreements

  • Organising complex diaries across multiple stakeholders

  • Financial reporting including Monthly & Quarterly Senior Leadership Team reports

  • CRM management; input of customer accounts and opportunities

  • Coaching volunteers; demonstrating empathy

  • Booking meetings and scheduling customer site visits for travelling sales focussed customers

  • Maintain an organised filing system of electronic documents

  • Manage workflow ensuring that deadlines are met and work is completed accurately

  • Customer advocate and be visible at all times

  • Share knowledge and best practice


Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a senior administrator or Personal Assistant

  • Advanced Microsoft Office / Google Suite skills

  • Strong organisational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities

  • Ability to work remotely within a team

  • Proficiency with QuickBooks/Xero/Free Agent or experience of using financial systems

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills

  • Friendly and professional demeanour

  • Uphold a strict level of confidentiality


Nice to have


  • Social media and lead generation experience

  • Produce blogs and manage marketing activities

  • Source and organise networking and exhibition opportunities and attend where appropriate
